Frequently Asked Questions

What happens at a weekend retreat?

The retreats vary, for each retreat focuses on a different theme and distinct activities related to the theme. At each, people relax, recharge and revitalize. All the elements of Tamarkoz® are included. It is a time to let go of everyday habits and worries, and concentrate on nourishing your soul. At each retreat, you listen to beautiful poetry, enjoy the melodious chanting of the Sufi Zikr, practice breathing techniques, release tension in relaxation exercises, and focus on reconnecting with the spiritual realm. You practice Movazeneh® each morning, and enjoy the Zikr and a guided visualization each evening.
The retreats are led by instructors with master’s or doctoral degrees who have been selected and trained by Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha, Pir, Oveyssi.
